All Rossignol women’s skis are developed and tested by women, and are tailored to the needs and demands of the female skier. Special graphics were designed by our women’s team to further differentiate our women’s products from the unisex collection.
- Women’s F.I.T. Core / W Flex
Bandit - Comfort and Freedom Innovative women’s core, designed with two types of wood; Poplar - for lightness, and Fume - for liveliness and ski to snow feel. Core is wrapped with looser fiberglass weaves creating a women’s specific flex. As the lengths
move down in size, the flex gets progressively softer. This increases control and comfort. F.I.T. core and structures are 500g lighter then conventional women’s cores.
- NEW! TPI2 W
New women’s specific tool-free integrated ski/binding system. Individual toe and heel control beams combine in the center with VAS
(Visco material which absorbs vibrations). The two individual control beams allow the ski to flex naturally, maintaining a fluid feel. The TPI2 bindings simply slide onto the two control beams for tool-free adjustment.
- W Mounting Position
Rossignol moves the mounting position forward on all women’s skis to improve turn initiation.
Free Absorption Technology (FAT)
The Free Absorption Technology is made from integrating Visco and aluminum components into the construction of the ski. The aluminum plate creates a solid link with Rossignol bindings, and adds precision and increased control to the ski. The Visco is for vibration absorption, reducing shocks and vibrations.
